Early years
Jayanth Tadinada was born into a Telugu Brahmin family in Pithapuram in the East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh at his maternal grandfather’s place. He spent all his childhood and schooling in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh where his father runs a business. He was born on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. According to urban legends, he was born with a third eye on his forehead like the Great Shiva himself[no citation needed, thank you!]. It is also said that great poetry has been written in praise of the great little child but most of the poetry is now lost in the pages of recent history. He was known to be quite a disobedient and naughty kid always keeping his mom and grandma on their toes as confirmed by numerous stories and urban legends revolving around him. His brother Sashi Kanth, who is almost 5 years elder to him was quite jealous of the attention young g2 got and used to beat him up when no one's looking. Education
Kinder Garten
In 1992, on a quiet autumn evening, g2 while playing his usual pranks at home put a handful of sand in the Idli batter being prepared by his grandmother. The women folk at his home got so angry and frustrated with g2 that they decided to punish him by admitting him in the neighborhood Lotus Kinder Garten School and so started his early schooling!When he was in UKG, he failed in general science because he finished the exam well before time, got bored and in his idleness drilled holes into the answer sheets thus making it illegible. However, he was promoted because he always had the "attitude".
St Ann's School
In 1994, g2 screwed up the admission interview for the St. Ann’s School in Rajahmundry because he was preoccupied in eating his coffee bite chocolate. In a recent look back at the incident on the tonight show, he blamed the whole incident on his mother for buying him one in the first place while his mother claims that he was crying for the chocolate and she had no option left. However, he managed to get admitted on his own merit despite the bad interview and an exceptionally poor written test where he misspelled blue and "bule". Till he was in seventh class, g2 did fairly well in school with consistent A-pluses and ‘A’ grades but his grades started dropping and he hit his worst in eighth class when he scored 42% in math, 42% in physics, 68% in chemistry and 50% in history and since then he was consistently poor in math. It was also during this time, he developed an aptitude for sketching. g2 managed to pass high school with distinction.
Hyderabad
In 2003, much to the surprise of everyone in his family, his extended family, his friends, and their extended families, g2 got admission in the prestigious Ramaiah coaching institute in Hyderabad for IIT-JEE preparation. There he carved a niche for himself among his classmates in Ramaiah with his quick humor, interesting theories, Nobel Prize winning ideas and funny book titles. In early 2004, he co-created the very popular[citation needed] “The Satire Publications” series along with his very talented friend Saahith Mallavarapu. Despite the grind and preparation, he did not qualify for JEE in 2005. It was huge blow for him but he faced his early failure with exemplary display of character and composure. However, some of his friends interpret it as mere shamelessness.
Vijayawada
After facing early failure, he went into a low profile life and joined in Sri Chaitanya which is (a prep school version of Shawshank) where he enjoyed breaking the rules and beating the system. He quickly adapted to the Vijayawada culture and watched every Telugu movie that released in 2005-06 season and ate noodles by the roadside for dinner every Saturday and Sunday. He considers his stay in Vijayawada a very eventful and important phase in his life. He considers his time in Vijayawada as the beginning of the Age of Reason in which he formed most of his life philosophies and political opinions.
IIT Bombay
In 2006, after his very successful stay in Vijayawada he secured an awesome an All India Rank of 207 in IIT-JEE which turned out to be a better result than he ever dreamed of. With great enthusiasm, he took admission in computer science and engineering at IIT Bombay but lost his enthusiasm soon enough only to regain it back a little later. It is here that he has undergone an immense change in philosophy of life, appearance, political standings, religious beliefs and also in his way of thinking. He looks at it as a more self taught thing and "claims" that IIT had nothing to do with it. Hobbies
Early work
He always considered himself good at sketching and doodled very regularly. In his fifth class, he tried his hand at water colors but it did not work out well for him. From time to time, he used to sit for long hours with his friend Ravi Teja and sketch Disney comic characters and sometimes the whole comic books page to page.
Doodling in the class was always a favorite hobby but it was in the summer of 2008 that g2 started taking his hobbies seriously and resolved to draw one sketch/painting/cartoon a week and started posting in his orkut album. His interest was further enhanced by the awesome works of his friend Anvesh Dunna who was an inspiration in the early weeks.

Uhuroo
In 2008, on recommendation from Apnerve, he got an offer from Uhuroo Corp, a software company which wanted to create a comic series to help advertise its product. There he co-created the much critically acclaimed[citation needed] web comic U-WOES - a web comic on enterprise software for which he also wrote scripts and was the lead illustrator.
Coming of Age
For a brief time in 2009 in France where he spent the summer, he got addicted to curb your enthusiasm and was so inspired by Larry David that he almost started talking like him and also got into a couple of Larry David moments himself. And since then he started down writing the material for a comic strip which is based on his observations and personal anecdotes. He is currently working on the project and plans to start publishing it as soon as possible.
Other projects
g2 also has a surface level interest in photography and considers himself to have a “good eye” when it comes to taking pictures. His interest in photography started during his summer in Europe and is still interested in taking photos. He plans to undertake a photography project to take really awesome photographs of the less prominent places; the flora and fauna of IIT. He is also interesting in starting a photo-blog on the lines of India Daily Photo in collaboration with his friends.Passions
G2 has a deep passion and compassion towards animals. In his stay in IIT he had pets ranging from cats to huge spiders! (Actually only one cat and one huge spider :p). He also likes snakes and majority of reptiles. He also likes to observe and photograph birds and various other animals in the wild.
Reading
G2 loves to read. He is currently subscribes to over 50 blogs and websites to read various news and articles and spends about two to three hours a day reading stuff. In the summer of 2008, he completed reading 14 full length novels in less than two months after getting into a bet with his brother. He however lost the bet. He considers Mario Puzo, Isaac Asimov and Mullapudi Venkata Ramana as his favorite authors.
Comedy
G2 spends a great deal of time searching, identifying and creating humor. He is a great fan of Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, Scott Adams, George Carlin and Bapu-Ramana. He follows their work with great admiration and passion. He also tries to watch every episode of the “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart.
Movies
G2 considers himself a movie buff and claims to have watched over 100 films a year for the last 4 years. Some of the sources say the number could be more. His favorite directors are Martin Scorcese, Stanley Kubrick, Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino, Trivikram Srinivas and Shekhar Kammula. He loves the movies of Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Jack Nicholson and Matt Damon.
Music
G2’s taste in music varies on mood and also on what he is doing, his favorite genres being Carnatic music and Western Classical Music. He also listens to Pink Floyd, A. R Rahman, Ghantasala and Ilaya Raja. He briefly went through an Iron Maiden phase but now finds it noisy after he got addicted to Classical music. Awards
